Multi-Resolution Traffic Simulation

Microscopic simulation models are useful to design transportation infrastructure and to improve traffic control concepts. They also allow for impact analysis of traffic management concepts. In the application of these models, alternative solutions are simulated and the impact on pedestrians, cars and public transport is measured in performance indicators.
If larger areas are to be simulated, we offer multi-resolution modeling. This approach applies to each geographical level an appropriate simulation method with sufficient complexity to allow to obtain the results that are needed on each level.
